ABOUT OKSANA LADA
BIOGRAPHY
Oksana Lada came to the United States from her native Ukraine. She began working in television, film, and the stage upon her arrival. Her four seasons on the Golden Globe award-winning HBO series The Sopranos, as Irina Peltsin, Tony's mistress made her recognized to American audiences and abroad. Guest star roles on CSI Miami, Hack, Law & Order, Deadline, and Lateline in the LA MAMA stage productions of Waterfall Reflections and Forrest Song as well as Macbeth with the Luminous Group followed-
Oksana then debuted as the lead in the Off-Broadway production of Pentecost by renowned British playwright David Edgar, which was nominated for a Drama Desk Award.
She is a fellow and alumnus of W.H. Studios where she studied with Wynn Handman, who tutored such actors as Denzel Washington, Richard Gere, Alec Baldwin, James Caan, and Michael Douglas. Additionally, she has studied with Mimi Lieber in New York City.
She recently completed filming the feature film "Douglas Brown", starring Robert Forster. Recent television appearances include "NYC 22"/ CBS "Orange is the New Black"/ Netflix & "Drop Dead Diva"/ Lifetime Channel.
